Written Update of Anupama – 23rd June 2023:

In today’s episode of Anupama, Nakul smirks as Anupama prepares for the dance face-off. He is determined not to let Anupama take away his position and efforts that he has put in over the years. Meanwhile, Malti Devi observes the preparations for the dance competition and gazes at Nakul and Anupama with grace in her eyes. She reassures herself that this dance-off will make Nakul understand why she chose Anupama over him.

The competition begins, and both Nakul and Anupama showcase their dancing talents with grace and expressive faces. However, Nakul’s focus is primarily on winning. Malti Devi notices that Nakul’s gestures displayed pride, while Anupama gestures displayed kindness and gentleness in her expressions, which makes Malti Devi cheer for Anupama even more.

Suddenly, the lights go out, creating an opportunity for Nakul to execute his plan to harm Anupama. He pushes the backup dancers, causing the flower stand to fall to the floor. Some glass shards mix with rose petals, and as Anupama dances, she steps on them, crying out in pain as they pierce her foot.

Malti Devi is shocked to see Anupama in agony and immediately stops the competition. She rushes to Anupama’s aid. Meanwhile, Leela asks Kinjal if she has also come to inform them that she will be leaving the house. Vanraj questions Leela’s statement. Kinjal explains that just as the Earth revolves around its axis, their lives revolve around Anupama as she is their main support.

Since Anupama is going to America for an indefinite period, Kinjal suggests bidding her farewell with a grand celebration so that she remembers her departure as a happy memory. Vanraj and Leela agree to Kinjal’s idea and believe that Anupama should have fond memories of her time with them before leaving. However, Kinjal and Vanraj clarify that they shouldn’t become obstacles in Anupama’s future.

Later, Vanraj talks to Toshu and informs him that he has arranged a job for him in his company, and Toshu will be joining soon. Vanraj urges Toshu to take action if he doesn’t want to lose Kinjal and Pari, highlighting Kinjal’s ability to handle everything on her own while Toshu remains idle. Toshu feels happy on knowing about farewell party for Anupama and decides that he will do something special for her.

Meanwhile, Vanraj visits Kavya at the hospital, where she had her ultrasound scheduled. He expresses his desire to be with her throughout her pregnancy and requests her to return to their home. Vanraj is concerned about Kavya staying alone. Eventually, Kavya agrees, bringing joy to Vanraj.

On the other hand, Malti Devi tends to Anupama’s wound and bandages it. Anupama is moved by Malti Devi’s care and kindness. As Malti Devi asks Nakul to retrieve the CCTV footage of the dance hall, Anupama notices his expression and realizes that he was the one responsible for the incident.

Anupama takes responsibility, admitting that she placed the flower stand there, but Malti Devi remains suspicious about the truth. After everyone leaves, Nakul kneels at Anupama’s feet and apologizes for his actions driven by jealousy. Anupama understands that Nakul must have felt hurt all this time, leading him to do such a thing. She assures him that this matter remains between them, and Nakul feels ashamed of himself.

However, Malti Devi enters the room at that moment and stares at Anupama and Nakul, leaving the situation uncertain.
